But I used it in 3ft surf and wow it was not as good as I thought the cheap us dive masks out preformed this in surf 8ft that is a 16ft face in Hawaii the snorkle felt like a semi upgrade from the cheap sets I use to buy for 5$ when I wad a kid.
This is what the coast guard resq swimmers use omg I feel so bad for them in so many ways. 😢
Pros the mask has great depth perception and with a small pocket of water will stay un fogged. It's one of the most comfortable masks I've ever used. The snorkel mouth piece is great mouth guard.
Cons it almost got ripped off my face in 3ft surf wiping out must be made to be used with their helmet... snorkel fills with water easily in surf and just kicking around, snorkel like those old cheap ones from the 90s never really gets cleared of water I swallowed enough water to get acid reflux... the nose piece on the mask keeps your nose wet in water the whole time. But doesn't hurt my nose like my us diver mask does.
I wish I would have bought a high end dry snorkel and mask with those valves on the nose and snorkle bottom.
If the uscg is rescue swimmers are able to use this trash and save lives wow!
The only way this will not be a sad review is if I figure out how to keep it anti fog with baby soap otherwise it didn't work. Will give it another try with my old dry snorkel because this mask is so comfortable.
I don't see your seals or uscg swimmers in serious Hawaii surf charging with mask and snorkel but I do... #snorkelboogie...
